The award-winning McClay Library welcomes 10,000 visitors every day and provides everything for Queen's students under one roof: it is home to 2,200 reading spaces, 1.2 million books and the latest computer facilities.

Speak with our advisors

Take the opportunity to chat with staff from Finance, University Health Centre, Queen’s Sport, Student Welfare, Language Centre and Queen's Accommodation. They'll be able to answer any questions you might have.

Queen's is home to over 50 sporting clubs and societies. The Physical Education Centre is one of the most advanced sporting facilities in the UK and Ireland.

Queen’s Students’ Union is ranked as one of the best in the UK (National Student Survey, 2013), with over 190 clubs and societies and dedicated entertainment spaces.

We are lucky that Queen’s is located in such a lovely part of Belfast. Take the time to explore the lush Botanic Gardens and stroll around Stranmillis.

Queen’s University's residential accommodation is among the best and most modern in the UK. Elms Village, a superb self-contained residential space for students, is only 15 minutes’ walk from the main campus.

There will be a number of campus tours taking place throughout the Open Day, including opportunites to visit our Elms Village accommodation, the award-winning McClay Library and our sports facilities at the PEC. The tours are the perfect way to get a feel for what it's like to be a Queen's student.
