Go straight to Elms Village

Your student arrivals team at the airport will show you the way to Elms Village

where you can offload your luggage and make yourself at home after your long journey.


Call home

Let them know you’ve arrived safely. You can do this using the payphones at Elms Village, at the Students’ Union or in the International and Postgraduate Student Centre.

International calling cards are on sale in the Students’ Union. You can Skype from Elms Village and the International and Postgraduate Student Centre.



It’s easy to forget to eat in all the excitement.

So grab a bite to eat – there’s lots of info on finding food and shopping for the things you like in our living in Belfast section.

They have all the answers to your questions and can give you great advice on settling in and finding your way.


Get enrolled

The team at the I&PSC will know what you need to do.

If you’re a non-EU/EEA/Swiss national, you’ll need to complete a Right to Study check and they can do that for you. They’ll also introduce you to the staff in your School.


Check out the Library

Once you’ve got your student card,you can head over to the McClay Library.

Here you will meet the staff who can show you how to make the most of this amazing resource.
