Queen’s University Belfast, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, is delighted to be offering a selection of scholarships to students applying to the University in 2019.
The GREAT scholarship scheme has been launched by the British Council together with selected UK universities, to support enable more international students to get access to the excellent UK higher education opportunities.

The total value of the scholarship scheme is nearly £1 million. This scholarship scheme will offer an exciting opportunity for international students wishing to get financial support to pursue study on degree levels in the UK. Students can apply for courses in subjects including engineering, law, business, art and design, biosciences, IT and more, at institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

We are offering two scholarships for Chinese students studying Postgraduate Research (PhD) in any subject offered in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The scholarships will cover tuition fees for the first full year only of the PhD programme (each scholarship is worth £16,300).

We are offering one scholarship for a Malaysian student pursuing a postgraduate Master's in Architecture. The scholarship will cover one year of tuition fees of the 2-year MArch degree. The scholarship is worth £20,000.

We are offering one scholarship for an Indonesian student pursuing an undergraduate programme in the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences*. The scholarship will cover tuition fees for the first year only of the undergraduate programme. (each scholarship is worth £20,000)
*Please note that Medicine and Dentistry programmes are not eligible.
