International Office Postgraduate Research Scholarship

Available for eligible international students enrolling 2019/20 and 2020/21

For new International Students enrolling onto a full-time postgraduate research programme. 

  •  Exclusions apply
  •  Year one award of £2500 (fee rate 1) or £3000 (fee rate 2)
  •  No application necessary

Vice-Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship

Applications open later this year for international students enrolling 2020/21. Keep checking these pages for the updated information.

One new international student enrolling on a full-time postgraduate research programme. 

  •  Exclusions apply
  •  Full tuition fees paid for all years of programme, up to a maximum of three years
  •  Application necessary.

Queen's Loyalty Scholarship

Available for eligible international students enrolling 2019/20 and 2020/21

For Queen's University alumni returning for full-time postgraduate research study. For Exchange and Study Abroad students progressing to a full-time postgraduate research programme.

Queen's Family Scholarship

Available for eligible international students enrolling 2019/20 and 2020/21

For children, sisters and brothers of Queen’s alumni and current students beginning a full duration course at Queen’s University Belfast. Exclusions apply

Early Bird Reward

International students with unconditional offers for 2020/21 should check this page for the Early Bird deadlines for 2020 which will be available shortly following the launch of our 2020/21 scholarships.

For new International Students starting onto a full-time postgraduate research programme.

  •  10% discount on year 1. 10% discount on gross fees
  •  May be used in conjunction with other scholarships
  •  Students must email proof of transfer to internationalscholarships@qub.ac.uk

CQC Queen's Scholar Award

Details of how to apply for 2020/21 will be available shortly

Four awards available for current CQC students who are progressing to a full-time Postgraduate Research programme at Queen's University Belfast in 2019-20.

  •  £9,000 total award per student (£3,000 discount on tuition fees per year, up to a maximum of three years)

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS) is offering 3 International/EU PhD Scholarships

  • Studentships start October 2019
