Book of Condolence

5/06/2017

Following the tragic news of the sudden and untimely death of our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Johnston, a Book of Condolence is now open for signature in the Council Chamber, Lanyon Building.  Staff, students and friends of the University are invited to visit and to pay their respects in recognition of Professor Johnston’s outstanding contribution to Queen’s and to wider society.

The Book of Condolence will be open daily, from 9 am to 7 pm, until Friday, 9 June 2017.  If you are unable to attend in person, you are welcome to email your condolences to vc.office@qub.ac.uk.

Tea and coffee will be available and representatives from the Chaplaincies and the Student Welfare Team will be in attendance to offer support at this desperately sad time.
