GCNP - Global Uncertainties
29/11/2017 - 29/11/2017
12:00PM - 4:00PM
McClay Auditorium, The McClay Library
The Global Challenge Networking Programme (GCNP) is an opportunity for Queen’s researchers to develop interdisciplinary networks and collaborations addressing some of society’s major problems.
How are ‘global uncertainties’ best characterised? Can such uncertainties be predicted or quantified? How can uncertainties in areas such as the environment, energy, food security, inequality, conflict and the economy be addressed? How have uncertainties been mediated and represented in the past and what is the role of contemporary creative practice in such representation now?
A catered lunch will be provided. Please advise us of any dietary requirements. Further details, including full agenda and detailed timings, will be sent to all attendees in due course.
