Research and Enterprise, Seminar room, 1st floor.

Academics from the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences are invited to a short seminar on the European Research Council (ERC) funding programme.

The ERC programme funds ground-breaking and original research ideas in any field. The funded research is expected to lead to advances at the frontiers of knowledge and to set an inspirational target for frontier research across Europe.

The seminar will start with a description of the programme followed by two talks:

Professor Marie Therese Flanagan from the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics will share her experience as a Panel Member for the panel SH6 – “Study of the Human Past”.

Dr Ian Campbell from the same School will talk about his experience as a successful applicant.
