Mitchell Institute Professorial Fellow Richard English will deliver a Keynote Lecture at Georgetown University on 27 January 2017, at a Conference in Washington focusing on Terrorism, Counter-Terrorism, and the challenges facing the new political administration in the USA.

Mitchell Institute Professorial Fellow Richard English will deliver a Gifford Lecture at the University of Edinburgh on 2 March 2017, on the subject of ‘Nationalism, Terrorism and Religion’.

Mitchell Institute Professorial Fellow Richard English will deliver the Paul Wilkinson Memorial Lecture at the University of St Andrews on 6 April 2017, on the subject: ‘”With the Permission of God”: Religion and Terrorism in the Twenty-First Century’.

Mitchell Institute Professorial Fellow Richard English will deliver a Public Lecture at Boston College on 10 April 2017, on the subject: ‘Does Terrorism Work? The Case of the Provisional IRA’.
