Deposit Terms and Conditions
1.1 Due to high demand, applications may not be considered after 30th June 2019 for 2019 entry.
1.2 You will be required to pay a deposit of £400 pounds to secure your place on the course.
1.3 This condition of offer is in addition to any academic or English language requirements.
1.4 Failure to pay the deposit by the applicable deadline will not result in withdrawal of an offer to study at Queen’s University Belfast, however, you will be added to a reserve list and you should contact the Faculty Student Recruitment Hub (email@example.com) should you wish to pay your deposit and guarantee your place.
1.5 If you are planning to fund the total cost of your studies through a Postgraduate study loan, you will still be required to pay a deposit to guarantee your place. Please note a full refund of your deposit will be made by 30 November 2019 once you have taken up your place and cleared tuition fee funds have been received by the University from the Student Loans Company.
1.6 Deposits are non-refundable except in cases where the applicant fails to meet the academic or English language requirements for entry. Individual cases may be considered in extenuating circumstances.
1.7 Deposits can only be transferred in cases where the applicant fails to meet the academic or English language requirements of one course but wishes to transfer to another course in the Faculty, where they do meet the entry requirements, subject to a place being available. 1.8 Applicants who have secured funding for the full tuition fee amount from e.g. employer or government sponsorship (excluding Postgraduate Tuition Fee Loans) will not be required to pay the tuition fee deposit provided that satisfactory evidence of the award of funding is made available to the University in advance of the applicable tuition fee deposit deadline.
