Engineering Parents’ Evening

Thursday 7th November 2019, 6.00 – 9.30pm

This event is targeted at parents/guardians and students in years 11, 12, 13 and 14 (or equivalent) who are studying or considering studying A Level Mathematics and Science/Technology (or equivalent vocational qualifications).

Guests will have the opportunity to explore the engineering disciplines side by side. They will hear from current students, graduates and academic staff about the reasons why they should consider doing a degree in Engineering.

We will therefore have representatives from a selection of companies available throughout the evening to discuss the many opportunities both during study and after graduation.

Architecture Parents’ Evening

Monday 11th November 6.30 – 8.30pm

Thinking of studying architecture and becoming an architect - or know someone who does?

Then please attend our information and myth busting evening for year 11- 14 students - feel free to bring friends and family - who want to find out more about becoming and being an architect.

Parents’/Guardians' Evening

Thursday 21 November 7.00 – 9.30pm

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences invite year 13 students and their Parents/Guardians to our information evening. The event commences with a short welcome and overview from Professor David Phinnemore.

Following that, you may choose from a variety of subject talks around the campus and you may attend up to three talks if you wish. Running alongside the talks, there will be information stands in the Whitla Hall for the various Schools in the Faculty, as well as careers, admissions, accommodation, disability services (from 7pm to 9.30pm). This will give you the chance to speak informally to staff and current students.
