Registration for PDC workshops is done online on google forms (links can be found on the course pages), not on iTrent.
After registration, you will receive an email to confirm that you have secured a place. This email is not sent automatically and may take a few days.
Places are allocated in a "first-come first-serve" basis.
If the course is full, your name will be added to the waiting list.
You can not register once the course has been delivered until a new date is advertised (for the next year).
The course's page will indicate if the course is full and in this case, your name will be added to a waiting list when you register. You won't receive a confirmation email in this case.
Postdocs on the waiting list will be contacted all at once by email if a place becomes available and the first to answer will be allocated the place.
The PDC workshops represent a significant portion of the PDC's budget.
Once you have registered for a PDC workshop, you are expected to attend it (every session or days if more than one). Please put the course in your calendar and set a reminder so that you don't miss it. If you change your mind about attending, please email the PDC more than a week in advance to allow time to find a postdoc to replace you.
If you register and fail to attend you:
The PDC may refuse your registration if you already registered to other PDC courses or events but failed to attend.
