The following support services from across Queen's will be in attendance at all three Open Days to answer your questions:

Accommodation

Find out what it’s like to live here at Queen's by talking with a member of the Stay at Queen's team. (Based in the Whitla Hall).

Admissions and Access Services 

Talk to our Admissions and Access Services about information on our courses, entrance requirements and our application process. (Based in the centre of the Marquee on the Front Lawn)

Careers, Employability and Skills

Learn how to develop your career and employability both locally and internationally through our Careers Services, Degree Plus, Study Abroad and Erasmus programmes. We will be playing a video showing some of the exciting opportunities we offer you to develop your skills, gain international experience and meet employers. Come and chat to our programmes staff and career consultants who will be on hand to discuss the range of opportunities and what's best for your future

Fees and Funding

Student Finance oversees the financial enrolment of all students, assessment and collection of tuition fees and related charges, the administration of University Bursary Schemes and administration of the Student Support Fund. Discuss your payment options and additional grants or funding opportunities which may be available. (Based in the Whitla Hall)

Language Centre

Learning a foreign language is not just about self-fulfilment or being able to read the classics in the original. It is about increasing your marketability. The ability to communicate in another language opens up job opportunities in Europe and further afield. (Based in the Whitla Hall)

Queen's Sport

Talk to a member of Queen's sport to find out about our incredible sporting facilities, which are some of the best in the UK and find out about our competitive student rates at the PEC. You can also chat about our wide range of sporting clubs that are available to students. (Based in the Whitla Hall)

Disability and Wellbeing

Talk to members of our Resilience & Wellbeing team, who provide information and support to students and prospective students, as well as staff supporting students. They work across the University to ensure timely, coordinated support to students. (Based in the Social Enterprise Room in the Student Union)

University Health Care

Talk to members of staff from the University Health Centre at Queen's. It is a General practice that provides both student-focused and general National Health services. They also provide University-funded, non-NHS services, for students of Queen’s. Feel free to call into the Health Centre (located between the Student Guidance Centre and Elmwood Building) on Thursday and Friday or visit their stand in the Whitla Hall on Saturday.

Students' Union

Student’s Union - Talk to representatives of the Student Union team, who provide information and support to students as well as highlighting a range of clubs and societies that will enhance the student experience. Feel free to call into the Students Union (located on University Road) on Thursday and Friday or visit their stand in the Whitla Hall on Saturday.

Visit Belfast

Staff from Visit Belfast will be on hand to provide information to prospective students on what it is like to live in Belfast and to promote all the wonderful things about living in the most affordable student city in the UK.
