Elms BT9 is a purpose-built village for students, offering a range of modern, comfortable and secure accommodation.
Set in a residential location, there are 50 three-storeyed accommodation blocks.
The village includes the Treehouse, which is the main social space for all students living with us and is open 24 hours. The Coffee Den located on the upper level serves free tea and coffee and is a great place to meet up with friends.
Each floor has 10-11 bedrooms with a shared common room and kitchen.
A lot of social activities and events take place in the Treehouse. There are pool tables, table tennis, TV screens with BT Sports, computers for surfing the internet and Skyping home.
A small supermarket (Mace) is also located on this floor where you can buy fresh and frozen food.
There is also a hot food and sandwich counter as well as a cash machine.
The Residential Life team are based in the Elms BT9 and are on hand to help new students meet the challenges of living away from home for the first time.
They can signpost you to further support for any problems which may arise and they also organise regular social events and trips to help you meet new friends.
