REGISTRATION

All participants, including invited speakers, are required to register for APiP 2011 by following the link below.

First time you access the registration and payment pages you will be required to create an account. A confirmation email will be sent to you. You will then be able to choose and pay for any items in your "Shopping Cart" from the four categories:

  1. Registration
  2. Conference Dinner
  3. Accommodation (at the Queen's Elms Village)
  4. Conference Tours

The registration fee is £320 for regular participants and £160 for students (becoming £380 and £200, respectively, after 31 May 2011). Plenary and invited speakers register at the reduced rate of £220 (£280 after 31 May 2011). Plenary and invited speakers have an option to register at the regular participant rate minus £1, and "sponsor" a named student who can then register for a nominal fee of £1. If you choose this option, please send us the name of the student by email. Other details and costs of the registration, dinner and conference tours are described in the 2nd announcement (updated 26/5/11).

Note that after creating an account you will be able to log in again as many times as necessary to make payments. However, it is advisable to pay for the conference dinner and tours early, as places at the dinner and some of the tours may be limited.

The payment must made by a credit or debit card: Mastercard, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Switch/Maestro or Solo.

Following their on-line registration, Student Participants must submit a scanned copy of their valid student ID by email.

Limited funds are available to support students and participants from less favoured regions presenting their work at the conference. Support will be in the form of waived conference fee and/or accommodation at Queen's Elms. Requests should be submitted by filling in the Support Request Form. For students the application must be accompanied by a recommendation letter from the student's supervisor or Head of Department certifying student status. The deadline for applications is 16 May 2011. Applicants will be notified by email about the outcome soon after the application deadline.
