Welcome to the Home Page of the Centre for Data Digitisation and Analysis.  

The Centre is based in the School of Geography, Archaeology and Palaeoecology and the Queen's University of Belfast.

We have a comprehensive service from the digitisation of 'difficult' historical material, to consultation, project management, technical support, the assessment of delicate materials, quality assurance, data post processing and project delivery.

We have a range of specialised equipment (including flatbed, book page, microfilm and map scanners ranging up to A0) and associated software. The experienced team has been involved in a number of collaborative projects ranging from simple digitisation work to complex post processing, innovative dissemination and outstanding research.
