At the recent AUDGPI meeting hosted by RCSI, in Dublin, on 9 March 2012, we were delighted when Dr Allison Menary, on her F2 attachement with us, scooped the Irwin Prize for the best educational research presentation. Congatulations to Allison and her co-authors (G Gormley, B Irwin, M Hart and C McCourt). The study 'Temporry tatoos to simulate skin conditions: Appraisal of a novel OSCE assessment tool' captured the attention of her audience and illustrated well an example of the innovative approach to educational practice within Queen's undergraduate medical curriculum.
