Human Agency and an Irish Diaspora

The lecture by Professor Don MacRaild will seek to explore the extent to which the notion of Diaspora may be meaningfully achieved by recourse to evidence of Irish people around the world behaving 'diasporically'. Evidence will be drawn from both 'Orange' and 'Green' dimensions of the mass emigration of the Nineteenth Century.
