| Academic Affairs is part of the Directorate of Academic and Student Affairs and has advisory and developmental roles in relation to all aspects of academic policy, procedures and regulations for taught award-bearing provision. Our main areas of expertise are as follows:

- Drafting and providing advice on academic policy
- General regulations for all University programmes
- Study regulations for taught programmes
(including progress, examinations, appeals to Central Student Appeals Committee and academic offences)
