Writing Learning Outcomes to Support and Guide Good Learning and Teaching

This is Seminar 2 in a series of 8 on assessment.  Staff can attend any or all of the seminars.

Date: 27 April 2016            Note:  this session has been cancelled.

Time:  1.10 pm - 1.50 pm

Aimed at: Academic and teaching staff.

Aims:  The purpose of the sessions is to give an overview of the topic followed by discussion and an opportunity for a follow-up session, either individually or in a group where we can work with you in a variety of ways to help you improve assessment and feedback practices. We have worked with teams within institutions to help them redesign their assessment and feedback policies and practices.  We can also help you evaluate your current practices or new interventions.  The sessions will examine the balance of formative and summative assessments at the module and programme level and follow up sessions will consider strategies suitable for your students and your discipline.

Registration is via Queen’s Online (In the navigation under My Services, select Other, then Training Courses).
