Abstract of Discussion Forum:

Dr Beverley Milton-Edwards, National Teaching Fellow, Politics and International Studies and Professor Desmond Hunter, University of Ulster, will facilitate an interactive discussion on 3 precepts about assessment.

Biographical details

Dr. Beverley Milton-Edwards is a Reader in Politics in the School of Politics and International Studies in Queens University Belfast. Dr. Milton-Edwards has been a recipient of the Queens University Belfast Teaching Award in recognition of her innovations in teaching delivery. In 2002 Dr Milton-Edwards was recipient of the Times Higher Education Supplement/Learning Teaching Support Network E-Tutor of the Year award for her work on ICT learning and assessment strategies. In 2004 she received a Higher Education Academy National Teaching Fellowship and was made a Fellow of the HEA later that year. She is working on a two year project examining Critical Pedagogy and Conflict Resolution.
