International Student Support provide advice and support to international students and their dependants. Our area of expertise lies in student immigration, but this is by no means the only thing that we do! We encourage you as an international student to come to talk to us about anything, get to know our staff, and ask us for help with whatever you need - if we can't help with your query, we will be able to tell you who can. Our service includes:

Drop-in Sessions
- Location: International and Postgraduate Student Centre
- Times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2-3pm. Wednesday 1-2pm
- Who is this for? Any student who would like to have a quick chat with an International Student Support Officer
- What should I bring? Your passport and current visa
- Do I need to make an appointment? There is no need to make a prior appointment. Each student will be given 10 minutes to discuss their query. If the International Student Support Officer judges that the query is too complex to deal with in 10 minutes or not appropriate to deal with in a drop-in session, an appointment will be made for you.
Please note: Drop-in sessions will be held at the reception desk of International Student Support. If your query is of a personal or private nature, you may wish to discuss it at an appointment. If this is the case, please email iss@qub.ac.uk giving brief details of your query and, if appropriate, an appointment will be made for you to see an International Student Support Officer privately. Please be aware that, at busy times, you may have to wait for an appointment.
Visa Extension Workshops
- Location: Seminar Room 1, International and Postgraduate Student Centre
- Dates for 2013: TBC
- Time: TBC
- Who is this for? Students who wish to extend their visas to continue their studies at Queen's University
- When should I go? You should aim to go to a visa extension workshop at least one month before your current visa expires
- Do I need to bring anything? You will need to bring a completed Tier 4 (g) application form, your passport and your current visa
