Visa fee: Adults: €60 (£52, subject to exchange rates).

Children aged between 6 - 12 years: €35 (£31, subject to exchange rates).

Due to agreements with the EEA, the Visa Fee for nationals of the following countries:

  • Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russian Federation, Serbia, and Ukraine,

is €35 (£31, subject to exchange rates)

Payment Method: Cash.  Exact payment required - please check the exact amount with Consulate before making payment.

Comments: You must submit original documents together with a photocopy of each document being submitted.

If you intend to stay with a friend or relative in Italy, you will require an original letter of invitation from your host and a photocopy of your host's passport or national identity card, or the Italian "Permesso di Soggiornon" (Italian Residence Permit) if the invitation is from a non-EU citizen residing in Italy. 

If a multiple-entry visa is requested, you will have to show onward flight and hotel reservations for a period of up to 6 months from the first date of departure.
