A range of funding programmes are avilable to the support commercialisation activities including Proof of Concept, technology development and start-up seed investment.

| Proof of Concept (PoC) |
Supports for pre-commercialisation of leading-edge technologies and research. Projects must clearly demonstrate that their ideas have novelty, protectable IP and potential to lead to significant economic impact. | MRC Confidence in Concept (CiC) |
Support to generate sufficient preliminary data to establish the viability of an approach. Provide confidence in the underlying concept before seeking more substantive funding from sources such as the DPFS/ DCS or external investment from commercial partners.
