Gardens and Grounds

Key Functions

The Gardens and Grounds Service provides gardening and landscape services in order to create an aesthetically pleasing campus landscape.

Wildlife conservation also forms an integral part of our service and we aim to manage the estate in a sustainable way that also creates greater opportunity for biodiversity, so we can provide for today's needs without compromising the requirements of future generations.

We aim to continually develop mechanisms and new techniques to achieve greater biodiversity, conservation, and sustainability in areas such as conservation planning and development, control of invasive species, peat and composting, use of pesticides, waste reduction, and woodland management.

Our services include:

Landscape Maintenance   |   Litter Control   |   Maintenance of Upper Malone Playing Fields

Winter Plan (including snow clearance and gritting of paths)

All additional requests should be logged through the Estates Helpdesk.
