Finance Directorate

Our Mission
Our aim is to support the teaching, research and other activities of the University through the efficient planning, management and control of its financial and business affairs, and the control of its funds and assets, together with the development and implementation of effective systems and services to improve the financial wellbeing of the institution.

Our Objectives
To achieve the above aims the Finance Directorate seeks to meet the following objectives:

1. Preparation of short, medium and long term forecasts and financial plans to meet the requirements of the University's corporate plan.
2. Advice on resource allocation and use of funds Budget preparation, monitoring and control and advice on budgetary matters.
3. Financial accounting - the recording and classification of all financial transactions and the preparation of financial reports and accounts.
4. Establishment of financial regulations and control procedures and ensuring compliance with these and with audit requirements.
