year End Adjustments
Once the University's Accounts have been completed the menu will reflect the move to a new Financial Year:

his is the current Menu with enquiries set up for what is now the old accounting year.
You will see these change to reflect the new year (2003-04) by the end of October.

It is important to realise that the STANDARD ENQUIRIES have been set up merely as an aid for the user to quickly find routine information.
Even if the STANDARD ENQUIRIES option was missing from the Menu, a user can still find information using the MY PRIVATE ENQUIRIES (either Balance Tables or General Ledger transactions option).
As you can see this allows the user to specify an individual Project or a range of Projects. A range of account codes can be selected, as can accounting periods etc..
Subtotalling can also be used here
If your query covers accounting periods more than 2 years ago be sure to tick the 'C' box 'Historical GenLedger' at the top left of the enquiry screen. This will make Qfis include the archive figures in the results screen.
