Roles and Responsibilities for Research Grant Administration
The Principal Investigator is primarily responsible for managing their research grant. This will involve ensuring that all University procedures and sponsor requirements are adhered to in full.

The Head of School is responsible for managing the portfolio of research grants and contracts for their School.
The Research Support Office is responsible for providing advice and assistance to the Principal Investigator with financial aspects of post award research grant administration. If you have a query with any aspect of the administration of a research grant you should contact the Research Support Office in the first instance. Dedicated staff from the team will provide support and assistance and can direct researchers to colleagues in other support areas who can provide specialist assistance if so required.
