Plan your approach to preparing the application
To ensure that an application for external research funding is prepared in as professional a manner as possible it is recommended that the Principal Investigator reads all information provided by the sponsor to ensure that the application is structured in the appropriate manner and includes all information required. It can be useful to discuss the approach to the application with your line manager, other colleagues and your Research Support Officer.
