Use pFACT to cost the research proposal

The University has introduced an on-line tool, known as pFACT, to assist researchers to cost projects using the principals of full economic costing (fEC). The system is easy to use and can be accessed via Queen’s On-line or by using the direct web-link from the Research Processes website. A completed costing, prepared using pFACT, will be required in support of all applications for research funding. The Head of School and the Research Support Officer will require the costing information produced using pFACT to assess the viability of the proposal. In addition, the costing information will be required to be submitted as an integral part of the application to the sponsor.
