I've changed my bank account etc what do I do?

All QUB staff should have access to Queen’s On-line, through which any changes relevant to Salaries can be notified.  This is the only acceptable method of changing e.g. bank details, other than formally notifying in writing. If you prefer to use the latter method of notification use the form below, sign and forward it to Salaries by 7th of the month in which the change is to be actioned.

I have just started but don't have a P45, what should I do?

Don’t delay sending/ bringing your New Starter Form (which you should have been sent by Personnel) to the Salaries Office if you haven’t yet received your P45 from your last employer or you just don’t have one as you’ve come from outside the UK or haven’t been working this year in the UK.  Instead complete a form P46.  You can either, print off a blank form from the Inland Revenue web site below and complete it or complete one in the Salaries Office.

I've changed my name or home/work address what do I do?

Please use Queen’s Online to notify any such changes. Go into ‘Administration’ and then ‘Employment Details’ amending as appropriate.

I've lost my payslip, can I get a copy?

Payslips are available on ‘Queen’s Online’.

Why is my pensionable pay different from my taxable pay?

Taxable pay is normally gross pay less pension contributions or other tax allowable deductions eg Childcare Vouchers, GAYE etc, whereas pensionable pay is a total of all items within your gross pay which are pensionable eg basic salary.

How can I calculate the amount of tax I will be paying?

Please contact the person who deals with your pay. See CONTACT DETAILS ABOVE

When do I receive my P60?

These are normally issued to you automatically each May and are sent to your current payslip address.
