Maternity Leave

The University's policy on maternity leave applies to pregnant staff members and new mothers and reflects the provisions of the Work and Families Act 2006 and the Paternity and Adoption Leave (Amendment) Regulations 2008.

Queen’s is an equal opportunity employer committed to supporting the work life balance of its employees and as such has enhanced the statutory maternity pay provision to offer pregnant employees 18 weeks full pay.
