  • Cycle to Work Scheme

    The University’s cycle to work scheme, Cycle+, offers staff the opportunity to obtain a bicycle and safety equipment for less than normal cost.

    Cycle+ is operated through Cyclescheme, and by joining the scheme staff can hire a tax-free bike for work. For most people will result in a saving of between 32% and 42% on the cost of the equipment. By applying to the scheme, staff can have the use of a new bicycle and safety equipment, up to a value of £1,000.

  • Travel Loans

    As part of the University’s commitment to sustainable travel, employees can avail of an interest-free loan of up to £2,000 to purchase an annual public transport travel card.

  • Car Parking

    Parking space for vehicles within the University and its car parks is limited and, unfortunately, it’s not possible to meet all the parking needs of staff and visitors. Staff wishing to apply for a parking permit and to pay by salary deductions can do so via the online parking permit system, available at Queen's Online.

    Staff wishing to pay by cheque or cash should apply to the Estates Directorate in writing, attaching a car parking application form.
