Administration of Staff
The University Payroll and Personnel system (Trent) is accessed by core staff using client software distributed by the relevant department. Wider access to the information held with these databases systems is provided by QOL and all staff have the ability to access their core personal data including their payroll and absence data. In addition access to the management information derived from the database is released to named key users through QOL.
A number of workforce related business systems have been developed to streamline the process of managing staff these include: the electronic post approval system, the establishment database, the absence recording module etc.
