Location/Opening Hours
The IT Helpdesk is located on the ground floor of The McClay Library.
It is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. During this time:
- Two User Support technicians are present to advise users who contact the Helpdesk in person or by phone.
- A third technician responds to queries entered through electronic mail.
Outside these hours you can:
- Leave a query on the Voicemail service (3760)
- Email advisory@qub.ac.uk
All problems are recorded in the Heat database.
Note: Staff meetings are held between 12:00 and 13:00 on the second Tuesday of each month. The Helpdesk will be unattended at this time, although messages may still be left on voicemail.
