Email Technical Advisory Group (ETAG)
The Email Technical Advisory Group
The Email Technical Advisory Group is a forum where Information Services personnel responsible for the provision of email services can meet with other individuals from within the University who have an interest in the technical issues involved in the provision of email services. The aims of this group are:
- To advise schools and colleges with regard to "best practice" in the use of the University's email services.
- To advise schools and colleges of proposed or intended technical developments and their consequences.
- To seek feedback from schools and colleges with regard to the quality and effectiveness of the services provided.
- To provide an opportunity for schools and colleges to contribute to the development and improvement of these services.
Meetings are held quarterly and members are in regular contact via a mailing list.
