Student Computer Areas: Computer Asisistants are available to support staff/students in computer labs throughout the University.  These assistants are easily accessible and conveniently located to deal with front line computer related queries at the busiest periods during the day.

Students should also take note of the information which is regularly uploaded on to plasma screens and computer screensavers in the Student Computer Areas.  This information will highlight new IT facilities, promote good IT practices, advertise student activities etc.

IT Teaching Labs: Information Services offers a variety of support and services for all our teaching labs. This includes the provision of:

  • Guest Accounts: For information on getting access to computer guest accounts (temporary username and password), contact the Computer Helpdesk.
  • Wireless: For information on wifi areas around the University and getting access to the wireless network visit the WiFi section.
  • Support for Teaching: For information on the use of interactive technology for teaching and lecture recording services, check out the Interactive Leacture Theatre and Lecture Recording services.
