SharePoint provides an online environment, where staff can easily find and share information with colleagues in their own School/Directorate, with colleagues across the whole University, as well as with colleagues outside the University, for example External Examiners, those involved in Research Clusters etc.
SharePoint is widely used to facilitate day-to-day working practices and also the University's business practices. All staff and students in the University are using SharePoint, for example staff use it to collaborate on documentation, to share calendars, to view interactive reports etc., while students use it via Queen's Online. All School and Directorates have their own SharePoint sites and a selection of key University reports are only available on these SharePoint sites.
