Queen's Online (QOL) has been developed within a SharePoint environment, providing access to many key services in the university, including the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which staff and students use to access learning and teaching materials.
The integration between SharePoint and Microsoft Office continues to grow, enhancing working practices. For example, it is possible to have multiple authors of the same document at the same time and also save directly from Office on to a SharePoint site.
