Category: Research Centre

The Centre for Archaeological Fieldwork (CAF) is an excavation unit based within the School of Geography, Archaeology and Palaeoecology at Queen’s University Belfast. Comprising a team of 15 professional archaeologists, the unit undertakes the fieldwork requirements of the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA). The CAF’s Facebook page has up-to-date news of the projects that are currently being working on across Northern Ireland, as well as photos, news and links to other archaeological sites that may be of interest to their 'likers.’
