25th April 2012: Notice of Planned Downtown

Due to an essential upgrade to the University's server environment this weekend, it is necessary to take the CMS offline on Friday 27th April at 5pm. The service will not be available again until Monday 30th April. The service is scheduled to be restored by 10am on Monday.

Please ensure that you have saved any work and exited the system before 5pm on Friday 27th April. The last set of scheduled publishes to update your live web pages will run between 4pm and 5pm on Friday 27th April.

Please note: If your website contains web forms that submits data directly to the CMS, e.g. a registration form, please be advised that no content will be able to be submitted to the CMS during the downtime as the database will be offline. You may want to update any page where such a form exists to notify visitors that form submission will be temporarily unavailable.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that this downtime may cause.
