Setting up an Account
After applying for an email account , you need to ensure that suitable email client software is installed on your workstation to enable you to use the University's email service. Information Services recommends Microsoft Outlook 2007 but other clients such as Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird, Mozilla and Netscape Messenger are also supported on a 'best efforts' basis. Information Services runs training courses on the use of Outlook.
If you are using Outlook Express, you should seriously consider moving to Outlook 2007 to take advantage of the additional facilities offered by the Microsoft Exchange service.
