Remote Access
Information Services has put in place a number of measures to enable staff and students to access Queen’s resources from off campus – for example from home, while on placement or when at a conference. Usually these services are available from the web browser on your remote PC, using your existing Queen’s credentials.
Note: when accessing web-based systems that require authentication the system may offer to remember your password. We strongly recommend that you DO NOT accept this option. If you do, another person using the same machine may be able to access your information. You should always log out properly from the services below.
Webmail
This service enables you to access your email via a web browser from anywhere on the internet. You can view your inbox and remote folders and send messages. The webmail interface also allows you to send and receive messages with attachments. Find out more from the Webmail page.

It will only work using a specific telephone number that you have registered with Computing Services. Your school or unit will bear the cost of the calls. Contact the IT Helpdesk for further details about this service.
