Help with Wireless
If you are still not connected to the Queen's Wireless Network:
1. Ensure you have followed all of the wireless instructions (including the instructions in the troubleshooting sections in the full manual).
Note: Section 9, in particular, may be useful - as it provides an example configuration of a generic wireless profile for the Queen's Wireless Network. There are also useful step by step training videos for a Windows and Mac laptop.
2. Contact the IT Helpdesk: You can bring your notebook computer to the IT Helpdesk (location/opening hours details). From past experiences, in most cases problems can only be resolved when the notebook computer is in front of the Helpdesk staff.
Important Note: You should recognise that some notebook computers can cause difficulties, and it may be necessary to perform such tasks as downloading new drivers and, particularly with older systems, to suggest the replacement of the wireless network card.
