KTP Graduates

Graduates (KTP Associates) are recruited into the Partnership, normally for two or more years to work on challenging high profile projects.  Associates are employed by the University, but work in the company under their terms and conditions, jointly supervised by company and university staff.  Each job has different requirements, but in the main, Associates should hold an Honours degree in a specified discipline.  Industrial experience is not always essential; summer placements, completion of relevant degree modules or work on student projects are all usually considered in the shortlisting process.

KTP Associates spend around 10% of their time in training and personal development. At the start of their project they are given a travel and training budget to manage (around £7,000 over two years) - meaning you get to decide which courses you think are most beneficial. Additional free training modules cover personal development and project management, marketing and effective communication, finance and performance management.  You can also benefit from job-specific technical training.
