The Consultancy and Technical Services Team co-ordinates the engagement between external organisations, including companies and non-commercial organisations, and the pool of expertise available in the University Schools and Research Centres.

The team is here to support University staff wishing to undertake consultancy. We can help by pro-actively looking for opportunities, not only with companies, but also with public bodies through access to a variety of procurement websites.
We maintain a consultancy database where academic staff can register their interest in participating in consultancy activities. This allows us to keep the relevant people informed of any appropriate consultancy opportunities that arise. To register, please fill in the consultancy registration form.
We are also able to provide:
- general business support, advice and mentoring
- proposal and contract review, including pricing
- invoicing and revenue collection and the distribution of fees
The Consultancy Team also co-ordinates the University’s participation in the Invest NI Innovation Voucher programme.
