The Research Development team provides strategic support for, and oversight of, research funding across the University.

What we do:
- Identify and promote new research funding opportunities (national, EU and international)
- provide expert support and professional guidance on the development of research funding applications
- promote and facilitate multi-disciplinary research activity
- co-ordinate and support the development of large-scale or strategic institutional bids
- organise events and training activities such as workshops, networking events, funder events, one-to-one sessions
- engage with major funding organisations and key external stakeholders
