EU Travel Grant

Aim

The aim of the EU Travel Grant is to facilitate participation in the EU Framework Programme, Horizon 2020.

Eligibility

Applications can only be submitted by Queen's University staff involved in research activities. The scheme covers all fields eligible for funding in Horizon 2020.

Eligible costs include reasonable travel expenses and costs incurred due to organising meetings, as per institutional guidelines.

Researchers will need to apply for each trip individually.

Funding covers travel undertaken by Queen's University staff involved in research activities who are meeting potential partners, members of the European Commission or attending EU consultative events relating to Horizon 2020.

The maximum requested funding should not exceed £1,000.

Applicants should note the following, overheads, sabbaticals, conference fees, coursework fees and information events are not covered by this programme.

Application Procedure: Please complete the Application Form below and submit to the EU Office. All applications should be submitted in advance of travel and using the appropriate application form.

Funds will only be transferred once the final receipts and a one page report on the outcomes of the meeting have been received.
