Draft Tri-Partite Proposal DEADLINE - 6 weeks in advance of NIH & NSF deadlines
All NIH proposals must be submitted to the HSC R&D Division (Clive.Wolsley@hscni.net) for pre-eligibility approval twelve weeks before the NIH deadline - including those health-related proposals to be supported by DEL/Invest NI in the sensors and nanotechnology areas.
In the cases of NIH sensors or nanotechnology projects to be supported by DEL/Invest NI, once HSC has confirmed eligibility and then subsequently cleared the draft NIH proposal (which is to be submitted to HSC R&D Division six weeks before the NIH deadline), HSC will then transfer the proposal to DEL/Invest NI for final consideration/approval and issue of the standard DEL/Invest NI Letter of Support (which will commit DEL to funding the Northern Ireland element of the proposal in the event of the overall proposal being approved by the NIH international peer review).
