How do I edit my Pure profile?
Your personal profile contains information which is displayed on the Universities website. It provides a very quick way to build a web page about your own research interests.
To add or edit your profile information, log on to Pure and click on the button Edit profile in the middle of the page under your name.
- Scroll down the page to identify the field you wish to edit (i.e. Organisational affiliations, Profile information or Personal expertise).

Note that information which is sourced from the core systems (HR, QFIS and QSIS) will only be available in read only format and cannot be edited. Any changes that are required to this information must be made in the core systems as they are the definitive sources of information. |
To add more information to your profile, go to the section Profile information and click on the button Add profile information to add text in your profile.
It is recommended that you prepare the information in advance and copy it in the text box that will open. Notice that you can select different section headings that will be displayed on the website
If you want to add a hyperlink in your profile, highlight the content that you want to link from and click on the hyperlink (chain) icon. A new window will open in which you can copy in the URL you want to link to.
Once you have entered and formatted the text, click Update. If you want to add another section, click again on the Add profile information button. Click Edit next to the section to edit the text. If you add several headings, you can change the order of sections by clicking on up and down arrows. Click on the minus sign (-) to remove the section.
Please remember to click Save when you have finished.
