What is the role of Pure in the REF submission?
Pure will be used to prepare the University’s submission to the REF in November 2013. Indeed, the system contains a module which allows individual members of academic staff to propose outputs for inclusion in the REF submission. Individual members of academic staff should note that Pure will be the only source of information on publications and research outputs which will be used by the University when preparing its REF submission. It is essential, therefore, that you keep the bibliographic information in your Pure profile up-to-date. The Research and Enterprise Directorate and individual schools/ Units of Assessment (UoA) will provide staff with more specific information on how to prepare the REF submission.
